Trump wins
by gavindlt ini am non political and have never voted but nonetheless i have been keenly watching to see how the trump presidential race unfolds.
i believe that his involvement in propelling or influencing a leaning toward bible prophecy will unfold.
how, i can’t say but something tells me that this anomaly and outlier being trump is highly signifiant!

Why do most Ex jW W‘s seem to be liberal?
by JaredScott-1977 ini’m just curious about this dynamic i don’t care personally one way or the other but i do have friends who have chosen to be conservatives and they get totally destroyed on social media pages for their choice.
it’s almost like a lot of ex jw w become as toxic and his judgmental as jehovah’s witnesses themselves what’s up with that?
i also know conservative ex jw’s that can do the same so again i’m not leaning one way or the other i’m just noticing factual observations.

Neighborhoods tend to draw alike. The local lower income congregation here is typical innercity. My friend who lives on 5 acres in the rural has red acting people in his congregation.

Just maybe the REPUBLIC is safe for a while. Actual representatives who consider the minority view and do what is necessary to not overly harm them.
Abortion is not going away few want it pushed back into black market but neither want full term decisions.
Crimes get prosecuted and punished.
Immigrants bring a needed skill and want to retire back to their homeland. Refugees need to be real.
Pie in the sky extremist views that actually harm normal people will be put to rest.

by Terry inmy only prowess in making predictions stems from my 77-years of life in the united statesgrowing up under president truman, eisenhower, kennedy, nixon, .....etc.
etc.i was a widdle kid sitting in front of a tiny black and white tv set when the very first broadcastsof political conventions, deal-making, debates (nixon vs kennedy), assassinations (jfk, rfk, martin luther king, etc.
) i grew up with duck and cover under my elementary schooldesk, the cold war, the iron curtain, the korean war, the vietnam war and i went to federal prisonas a jw conscientious objector while hippies, flower children, political activists protested and universitystudents were fired up on by troops.i grew up reading newspapers (2 of them).

the construction of a new jehovah’s witnesses kingdom hall in cybinka, poland, has once again shed light on the watchtower organization’s relentless drive to expand its real estate empire on the backs of unpaid, vulnerable volunteers.
every day, around 40 jehovah’s witnesses show up at the construction site, some traveling long distances, not for pay or proper protection, but to fulfill a sense of “spiritual duty” instilled by the organization.

They have a safety meeting before cleaning toilets nowadays. Hard hat, goggles, gloves, vest. Prayer? Any injuries are supposed to be covered by your own insurance.
There are still the pompous bosses. The tightened perimeter does cut down on the "just in time for dinner" crowd.
The old days of locals building their own hall with local pride are gone as is the quirky repurposed buildings. It was fun.

Wowzer are we ina hurt. The local bunch is feeble, unsmart, self serving, detached to varying degrees. The better ones died or moved.
Persecution is usually brought from idiotic actions by the big wigs.
Tribulation will come from the (not quite world power) leadership earthquake in the political scene; and secret knocks into the attic will be of no use.

an interesting read today to give some insight.. one of the most egregious con-artists is watchtower bible and tract society the “legal” entity for jehovah’s witnesses.
many retired jehovah’s witnesses have been targeted over the years to “loan” money for various “special projects” to further the “preaching work”, only to find they are never to be repaid.

I will credit one (only) elder who told a well off widow to useher money for a medicine food and luxuries because the WT has more money than they know what to do with. She felt a strip steak instead of burger was wasting God's money
